LATTICE Array:
L4 - 4x M3
[CUSTOM]

Build Your Sensor

The LATTICE L4 is a four-module linear array — four LATTICE 3.2MP camera modules mounted side by side on a shared frame with heatsinks, a UV-resistant ventilated cowl, and a 1/4-20 tripod mount. Each module is independently selectable: choose any combination of lens and filter for Modules 1 through 4 using the dropdowns above.

Every L4 ships fully assembled, synchronized, and tested. Modules can be swapped in the field as your requirements evolve.

Why Four Modules?

The L4 is the most spectrally dense array in the LATTICE lineup. Four modules give you up to 12 simultaneous bands — enough to cover every filter combination MAPIR offers in a single synchronized capture.

At 12 bands you're operating in a regime where subtle spectral differences become measurable. You can separate early-stage nutrient deficiencies from water stress, identify invasive species within mixed canopy, classify soil composition under variable cover, or track industrial surface degradation across narrow wavelength windows. With all four filters deployed (RGN + OCN + NGB + RGB), you have continuous spectral coverage from blue through near-infrared with a true-color visual reference — a dataset dense enough for research-grade analysis and machine learning classification pipelines.

The L4 also gives you room to dedicate modules to different roles within the same array: multispectral analysis on two or three modules, a true-color reference on another, and a narrow-lens module for simultaneous high-resolution detail — all captured within 100μs of each other.

What's Included

The L4 array includes four LATTICE camera modules mounted on a shared frame with integrated 1/4-20 tripod thread, aluminum heatsinks for passive thermal management, and a ventilated cowl for UV and weather protection. All four camera modules are sealed to IP67, and all rear connectors — M12 X-coded GigE Ethernet (PoE) and M8 trigger sync — are waterproof.

All four modules connect to a single sync harness, ensuring simultaneous capture with less than 100μs offset between sensors. The global shutter on each module freezes the entire frame, enabling pixel-accurate band alignment even on moving platforms.

Each module requires its own M12-to-RJ45 Ethernet cable for data and power. A 4-camera sync cable harness connects all modules for synchronized triggering (add both above, and explore more accessories here).

Choose Your Configuration

Select a lens and filter for each module independently:

Lens options: The 87° wide lens (3.5mm, f/2.8) covers broad scenes for area monitoring, canopy coverage, and aerial imaging. The 41° narrow lens offers tighter framing for targeted measurement at greater standoff distances.

  Distance 1m Distance 5m Distance 10m
LATT-M3-L87 1.5m Width (0.1cm/px) 7.6m Width (0.5cm/px) 15.1m Width (1.0cm/px)
LATT-M3-L41 0.6m Width (0.04cm/px) 2.8m Width (0.18cm/px) 5.5m Width (0.36cm/px)

Filter options: Each filter defines which three spectral bands a module captures. RGN (Red, Green, NIR) is the most common choice for vegetation indices like NDVI. OCN (Orange, Cyan, NIR) provides an alternative band combination for certain crop and soil analyses. NGB (NIR, Green, Blue) is suited for water quality and coastal monitoring. RGB captures standard visible color for reference imagery and visual inspection.

Common L4 configurations: RGN + OCN + NGB + RGB — All four filters, 12 bands, full spectral coverage from blue through NIR plus true-color reference. The maximum-information configuration for research and classification. RGN + OCN + RGB + RGB(41°) — 9 multispectral bands with true-color at two focal lengths for simultaneous wide-area and close-up visual scouting. RGN + RGN + OCN + OCN — Doubled multispectral coverage for redundancy or stereo-pair configurations in demanding field environments.

Scales When You Do

The L4 is the largest standard LATTICE linear array we currently offer. Need fewer bands or a smaller footprint? The L1, L2, and L3 arrays offer 3, 6, and 9 bands respectively at lower price points. Every LATTICE array connects to the same Chloros processing pipeline — calibration targets, DAQ ambient light sensors, and Chloros+ automation features work identically across all array sizes.
