The LATTICE L4 is a four-module linear array â four LATTICE 3.2MP camera modules mounted side by side on a shared frame with heatsinks, a UV-resistant ventilated cowl, and a 1/4-20 tripod mount. Each module is independently selectable: choose any combination of lens and filter for Modules 1 through 4 using the dropdowns above.
Every L4 ships fully assembled, synchronized, and tested. Modules can be swapped in the field as your requirements evolve.
The L4 is the densest of the cowled LATTICE frames. Four modules give you up to 12 simultaneous bands â enough to cover every 3-channel filter combination MAPIR offers in a single synchronized capture, or to pair a full color set with dedicated narrowband channels.
At 12 bands you're operating in a regime where subtle spectral differences become measurable. You can separate early-stage nutrient deficiencies from water stress, identify invasive species within mixed canopy, classify soil composition under variable cover, or track industrial surface degradation across narrow wavelength windows. With a true-color reference alongside your multispectral sets, you have continuous spectral coverage from blue through near-infrared plus a conventional visual record â a dataset dense enough for research-grade analysis and machine learning classification pipelines.
The L4 also gives you room to dedicate modules to different roles within the same array: multispectral analysis on two or three modules, a true-color reference on another, and a narrow-lens module for simultaneous high-resolution detail â all captured within 100Ξs of each other.
The L4 array includes four LATTICE camera modules mounted on a shared frame with integrated 1/4-20 tripod thread, aluminum heatsinks for passive thermal management, and a ventilated cowl for UV and weather protection. All four camera modules are sealed to IP67, and all rear connectors â M12 X-coded GigE Ethernet (PoE) and M8 trigger sync â are waterproof.
All four modules connect to a single sync harness, ensuring simultaneous capture with less than 100Ξs offset between sensors. The global shutter on each module freezes the entire frame, enabling pixel-accurate band alignment even on moving platforms.
That 4-camera sync cable harness is included with every L4, so the modules arrive wired for synchronized triggering. Each module still requires its own M12-to-RJ45 Ethernet cable for data and power â add those above, and explore more accessories here.

Select a lens and filter for each module independently:
Lens options: The L87 wide lens (3.5mm, f/2.8, 90° horizontal) covers broad scenes for area monitoring, canopy coverage, and aerial imaging. The L41 narrow lens (9.6mm, f/3.0, 41° horizontal) offers tighter framing for targeted measurement at greater standoff distances.

Filter options: An M3C color module carries a 3-channel filter set. RGN (Red, Green, NIR) is the most common choice for vegetation indices like NDVI. OCN (Orange, Cyan, NIR) provides an alternative band combination for certain crop and soil analyses. NGB (NIR, Green, Blue) is suited for water quality and coastal monitoring. RGB captures standard visible color for reference imagery and visual inspection. An M3M mono module carries one narrowband filter instead, chosen from 23 options between 385nm and 988nm.
Common L4 configurations: RGB + RGN + OCN + one M3M mono â the standard build, and how most L4 arrays are ordered. A true-color record, the NDVI workhorse, the alternate orange/cyan set, and one narrowband channel; that mono is usually F450 for blue or a red edge such as F725. RGB + RGN + two M3M mono â drop the OCN set for a second narrowband channel when you have two specific bands in mind, typically F450 and F725 together. RGN + OCN + NGB + RGB â all four color filter sets, 12 bands, no monos: the widest color coverage in one frame, including the NIR/green/blue combination for water and coastal work. RGB + RGN + OCN + RGB(L41) â index data plus true-color at two focal lengths for simultaneous wide-area and close-up visual scouting.
The L4 is the largest of the cowled LATTICE frames. Above it the open frames take over: the L5 carries five modules in a staggered five-bay frame and the L6 carries six in a 3 x 2 frame, the L6V and L8V stand the grid on end for narrow mounts, and the L9 carries nine modules and 27 channels in a 3 x 3 grid. Those larger arrays go past the twelve unique bands the four color filter sets provide by mixing in M3M monochrome modules, each adding one narrowband channel from a 23-filter catalog. Need fewer bands or a smaller footprint? The L1, L2, and L3 arrays offer 3, 6, and 9 channels respectively at lower price points. Every LATTICE array connects to the same Chloros processing pipeline â calibration targets, DAQ ambient light sensors, and Chloros+ automation features work identically across all array sizes.
