Rapini (Broccoli Raab) Field (350ft) - November 1st, 2018
This survey was of a rapini (broccoli raab) field which germinated about two months prior to these flights. The field is watered by sprinkler method. The DJI Inspire 1 carried two cameras during each flight using our DJI Inspire 1 Dual Camera Mount, and covered the 34 acre survey in one battery. A photo of our Calibration Ground Target was captured just before each flight and the software used to calibrate and stitch into an orthomosaic was our MAPIR Cloud.
This flight follows our recommended survey overlap of at least 70% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5mph (8kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for RAW+JPG mode, and a maximum 10mph (16kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for JPG only mode.
