Corn Field (390ft) - March 23rd, 2018
This survey was of two adjacent corn fields. The field on the right (east) was a few weeks older and was starting to show its tassels more. The DJI Phantom 4 carried both cameras during the flight using our Phantom 4 Dual Camera Mount, and covered the 70 acre survey in one battery. A photo of our Calibration Ground Target was captured just before each flight and the software used to calibrate and stitch into an orthomosaic was our MAPIR Cloud.
This flight follows our recommended survey overlap of at least 70% front-lap and 70% side-lap and a maximum 5mph (8kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for RAW+JPG mode, and a maximum 10mph (16kmh) speed for every 65ft (20m) of altitude (AGL) for JPG only mode.
